Possible floorplans

The circular plan with an inner sanctum would be striking in the landscape, however, difficult to organise in the interior. The outside spaces would need to SERVICE the interior. Also, no part of this structure could be omitted as it is symmetrical. That means everything would need to be built at the same time. If the client cannot affort that, or the materials are not available, this could stall the project.



I think that it could be a beautiful structure but difficult to organise.

This structure is more modular and could be built on a more delayed frametime. The solid elements could be rammed earth walls. i would like to incorporate something that has a sense of permanence and place on the site. It could be seen as a starting point for something to come... A story if you will.

By using modular elements, the client can use the structures to form the buildings as they need them. They can either clust them, have them service the large pavilion, or have them standing independently in the landscape.
